About Trident Sub Aqua Club

Our club was founded in 1975 and currently has some 25 members. The club is an affiliated club with Comhairle Fó-Thuinn - Irish Underwater Council (CFT). CFT is the co-ordinating body for Underwater Diving Clubs in Ireland and is the representative body for Ireland in the World Underwater Federation (Confédériation Mondiale des Activitiés Subaquatiques – CMAS). Between March and October we dive regularly in Dublin Bay and make weekend trips to top dive locations in Ireland, on a monthly basis. We organise at least one dive holiday abroad in warm waters each year. Weekly winter snorkels are great fun and keep our fitness levels up for next dive season. During the winter, our pool sessions and dive lectures provide an opportunity to train new members.
