Chek Isa is a great macro dive site but it also has so many fish that it is like diving through fish soup, both large and small, and also some great coral.
Tanjung Tokong is a great dive site that actually consists out of three dive sites, one sloping reef, one of deep boulders and a wall dive.
If you like diving on a pretty coral dive site then this one will not disappoint you. Coral covers quite a large area; so it is a little big to tackle in one dive unless you are exceptionally good on air. It has a great variety of marine life including sharks and turtles.
Kerengga Besar is a great dive site for those who want easy diving with no current, nice coral and two of the biggest coral bommies in Malaysia. Large jenkins rays are virtually guaranteed and reef sharks are often seen.
Big Mount is a superb deep dive of 40m. Black coral Garden to the west is an amazing garden of black corals up to depths of 30mtr. At the southern tip which starts at 30m up to 8m has everything from boulders, coral, fish to all kinds of turtles. If judged correctly it can be a great drift dive.
When the currents are right, Terumbu Kili is an amazing dive site, where you can see an incredable variety of fish, including sharks, napoleon wrasse, trigger fish and clouds of schooling snapper.
